CONTACT’S Summer Training Course starts on Monday, June 25, 2018.

CONTACT Hotline Summer Training is held for one week in the summer from June 25th – June 29th.  A 40-hour course for one week in the summer teaches volunteers skills which are helpful over the phone, via chat and text. Training topics include Active Listening Skills, Addiction Awareness, Mental Health, Suicide Prevention, and Community Resources.  Must be 18 years or older and out of High School.

The training course is offered from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. 

Training classes will be held on the second floor of the office building behind the Pennington United Methodist Church, 60 S. Main Street, Pennington, New Jersey 08534.  The church parking lot is free and adjacent to the church.

There is a one-time $35 registration fee that includes the training manual and other materials.  Confidentiality forms and criminal background check release to be signed at first class meeting.
